David Ola is the Technical Director, based at BDP Pattern's London studio.

Dave has strong skills, not only as a designer but also contractually and technically. He has been working with BDP Pattern since 2011 and was based in Al Ain delivering the award-winning Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. He then worked on Al Rayyan FIFA World Cup Stadium, for Qatar 2022. Dave also runs his own practice Studio O+U. Prior to BFP Pattern, he worked for Shephard Robson, and Anshen Allen Associates at a senior level.
At Shephard Robson Architects, Dave was the project leader of the £87 million, Maths and Bio-sciences project for the University of Bristol. The project was comprised of two modern buildings placed in the heart of the Bristol University campus, a setting with considerable historic significance. He also worked on Tseug Kwan O hospital in Hong Kong, a £100 million new build 35000m2 extension to the existing hospital in Kowloon.
At Anshen Allen Associates Dave gained experience in Education, Research and Healthcare projects. Education experience includes several projects for BSF (Building Schools for the Future) and LSC (Learning Skills Council) Further Education Programmes. Healthcare experience includes the Teenage Cancer Trust Project in Leeds, UK, and the Women’s and Infants Hospital Rhode island, USA.
